Yay! It’s Almost Over
Mercury Retrograde that is. Holy Smokes, this one has been a rough one. I can’t remember ever having so much trouble with a Mercury Retrograde as this one.
For those of you who are not sure what I’m talking about, three times a year the planet Mercury goes backwards for 3 weeks at a time. Mercury rules travel and communication, which means anything having to do with travel ie; cars, planes, airline/hotel reservations and communication ie; phones, computers, and conversations with each other can easily get all goofed up. People have car problems, computers break down, airline/hotel reservations get lost or have the wrong dates on them. People trying to have simple conversations can easily be mis-interpreted.
Writing can be a jumbled mess in your head (and a total nightmare if you’re on a book deadline). They say not to sign contracts during MR because you’ll need to go back and re-do them. I haven’t asked an astrologer about this one, but I sure wonder if there wasn’t something else going on at the same time Mercury was doing it’s thing. Life has just seemed so chaotic for the last three weeks but the good news is that tomorrow, Monday the 18th, it goes forward again. Cars will start working, computers will fix themselves, people won’t forget their appointments, we don’t’ have to keep checking our travel plans to make sure nothing is whacky. People in general will feel like they’re moving forward again and I for one am SO GLAD. Have you been waiting to hear from someone? Waiting for someone to make a decision about something? Have business deals been held up? It all starts to shift Monday.
Today when I woke up, I could feel a shift out in the Universe and I’m not sure if it’s Mercury or if we aren’t shifting into Spring. It’s not unusual for me to feel when the Earth starts shifting into a new season and it felt like that this morning although it still feels like 6 more weeks of winter.
Spring feels like it will be very abrupt this year. All of a sudden we’ll look up and see the buds on the trees and wonder where they came from. Winter at the end of March and BAM, April arrives and everything seems to go into full bloom. It’s odd to look outside at at least a foot of snow still on the ground and realize in just a few short weeks, I’ll be seeing green grass again. I love Minnesota.
Not much else to report today. Just very glad things will be moving forward again. I’m almost done with my next book called Look for the Good and You’ll Find God. It’s due out in the fall and I’m feeling good about it.
If you’re one of the sweet people that took the time to wish my friend Nancy Jernander a happy birthday on her 50th (February 6th) I really want to thank you. It made her day. Are you listening to your intuition? I sure hope so. There’s nothing better than living by the magic of life.
Love and blessings,
Echo
