What Just Happened?

Here we are a day after Christmas. We’ve been super busy for the last twenty days, getting ready for the holiday’s. We’ve shopped, made lots of plans, seen people we haven’t seen for awhile. Spent money we didn’t have, wrapped, baked, sang songs we haven’t sung for a year, tried to pick out the best presents for the people we love. Some had no families or friends to spend the holiday with and got depressed.

Which is why I pose the question what does any of this have to do with the birth of the Christ child? It’s probably on my mind because we do all this preparation and then wake up the next door and slowly make our way back to normal.

There is a lot to be said about the holiday season. It can be very cheerful and loving. The lights, songs, getting together with people we love, being kind to one another. We give to charities, think of others and how we can help. It really can be the most wonderful time of the year as the song says but again, I woke up today thinking, wow, it’s all over until next year when we do it again.

I have a class on Tuesday’s that has been studying the life and teachings of Jesus for a couple of years now and it has helped tremendously to move beyond the Christmas story of the birth of Jesus, to more of his teachings and that is what has given Christmas true meaning to me. The book I love the most is called What Jesus Wants You To Know Today About Himself, Christianity, God, the World and Being Human by a Gina Lake. Ms. Lake channels Jesus, and yes, I know someone of you just rolled your eyes and stopped reading this, but intuitively this book is the MOST ACCURATE book I have ever read about his teachings. If you woke up today feeling an emptiness inside, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. It is phenomenal.

If you have read any of my books, you know that I have been very blessed to see the spirit of Jesus many times in my healing work. He started appearing to me when I was a little girl, terrified of my life. He would appear and reassure me that it was all going to be okay. He continued to appear when I was going through the dark times in my life and he taught me the gift of healing by showing up many times when I was channeling healing, guiding my hands and working through me. He has taught me so many things and that is how I know Gina’s book is authentic because so much of what he has taught me is in the book. His teachings are so cool and I wish religion focused more on that than anything else. If you are searching right now, I can’t say enough about this book.

Also, there is a wonderful man named Tim Tengblad, a retired Lutheran Pastor that has a column on my website that I recommend reading. He is not just religious. He is a very spiritual man who has been studying the teachings of Jesus for a very long time and is no longer constrained by the church. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Happy New Year Everyone.

Gratefully,

Echo

I have read several of your books and have found the content to cause to reevaluate my thoughts toward dying and my possible physic ability. What I need at this time is a healing. I have been in mental and physical pain since 1985. My mental pain has lesson but the physical pain has increased. I had back surgery in 2020 that didn’t take my pain away. It just changed it up. I now have another herniated disc that is pinching on the nerves causing pain and burning in my arms and severe pain in my left groin area. I have had epidurals with no effect. I try to not take he controlled drugs, but sometimes the pain is so bad that I have to. I would like to ask for a healing. I believe in prayer and laying of healing hands. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
