Donald Trump wins the Presidential nomination. Quite a shock to say the least realizing this is the consciousness of our country. People are asking me to say something and as I sit here trying to pull my thoughts together, I’m realizing it’s not that easy to comment on something as challenging as this.
This is going to take a lot of discipline on our parts to not get caught up in the future of what’s going to happen . We’re going to have to remind ourselves each day NOT to focus on the what ifs and focus on what NOW. What can we do TODAY to live with this decision. We’ll wake up each morning and live our lives the way we have for the last eight years. Nothing will change until it changes and that’s when we will adjust our lives accordingly.
None of us came to this planet to live a calm, un-changing life. Earth is where all the opportunities are for our soul’s growth, so let’s see this as just that. Brand new experiences for our soul to grow from. Everything has to balance out and obviously the consciousness is saying now it’s time for the Republicans to see how well they can run the country. We aren’t victims here. You can be if you want to be, but that’s just a waste of energy.
I’m going to need a few more days to process this so I’m going to keep this short. What I do know is that there is still a power greater than Trump. We still have our amazing inner voice to guide us each day and that’s all we really need. We have our sense of humor to get us through the craziness. WE DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE TOMORROW’S BECAUSE THEY SIMPLY AREN’T HERE YET.
We have to stop projecting what we think it’s going to be like and just deal with it as it comes up. Rise above the fear. Imagine yourself sitting up on a branch of a tall tree and looking at your life from a higher perspective. Look for the gem in every challenge that comes up. If you’re not sure how to do that, get a copy of my book, Look for the Good and You’ll Find God. It’s got great stories of finding the goodness in life’s challenges.
We can do this. We can make changes. And we’ll become stronger, more determined than ever, to live the lives we came here to live.
