I’m getting alot of emails from people asking me what the heck is going on out there in the Universe. People are feeling fearful, cranky, sad, depressed, and a general annoyance with the people in their lives or their jobs and they don’t know what to do with all their feelings.
The energy that’s going on is to help us break old worn out patterns that we’ve been stuck in for a long long time. We need to look at what’s right in front of us that we aren’t seeing and if there are things going on that are causing unhappiness, we need to ask the Universe to intervene and help us heal the situation. It’s that old adage about the elephant in the room that everyone pretends is not there.
I had a cool experience the other day that I want to share but I always hesitate when talking about God because people have alot of negative feelings about “that word.” Many believe God is behind all their misery so they shut down as soon as the see the word, but as I always say, I’m not talking about the God of religion. I’m talking about the God I have come to know and love dearly. My front tooth needed surgery and I was really freaked out about it. Hearing the dentist talk about “extraction and bone graft” created this very strong fear inside of me and I was making myself physically sick thinking about it. While waiting for the dentist at the preliminary visit, I sat in the chair crying and I knew I needed to get a grip. I asked God if He/She could do something to take all this fear and angst away and literally within a minute, I felt this protective energy surround my body. I immediately stopped crying and felt like I was wrapped in a layer of God’s Grace. It was a beautiful, calming energy that stayed with me during the surgery and afterwards. It’s been 8 days since the surgery and I can still feel that layer of love. The procedure went very well and I’ve barely needed anything for pain other than a couple of Advil every day.
I share this little experience with you to make a suggestion if you’re one of the people out there going through a tough time. Ask your Higher Power to intervene and surround you in His/Her Grace. It is the coolest feeling ever. It’s easy to forget all the help available to us when we’re going through tough times.
Summer’s winding down so I hope you can get outside as much as possible. It’s a great way to feel grounded by connecting with the Earth.
Hi Echo, thanks for sharing your dentist experience with us. It’s a great reminder that we really shouldn’t have to tough things out by ourselves. We really do have a loving God that helps us. All we have to do is ask him. One of the things I admire so much about you is your faith. Since you already had the procedure, I hope you heal quickly and completely.
