I Remember Now ~ Signs Of Love ~ Pastor Tim Tengblad Post 98

In MN

Love

Wins

The past two months of the federal occupation of ICE here in Minnesota have been brutal.

But, through it all, I see signs of Minnesota gaining a clearer, stronger sense of its collective heart.

I see it in organized marches and protests. I see it in thousands donating, packing, and delivering food to their immigrant neighbors. I see it in Minnesotans donating money for various needs, and safeguarding schools, bus stops, and mosques.

I’ve heard the signs from our whistles warning of the presence of ICE.

I’ve marched holding the cardboard sign you see above. Today I held it high at a very busy intersection. Countless honks, waves, and thumbs up reminded us all of what we are.

We’re not all on the same page, of course. But I’ve never been more proud to be a Minnesotan, or had a clearer sense of what it means to be one.

There is a growing sense of what we truly are at our core. Love. And Love will always win in the end.

You are Love!
