It’s Fall and Pastor Tim is back at the Center
Hello. So many of you have been asking when retired Lutheran Pastor Tim Tengblad is going to start teaching his classes again, and here is his upcoming schedule. These classes are wonderful. If you’re missing something in your life, this might just be what you’re looking forward. Here is the description of what he will be offering:
September 23 – Q and A with Pastor Tim 6:30-8:00 PM. $20
You are invited to come with any and all questions you may have regarding: the Bible, religion, the Church and/or its history, Jesus, religion and spirituality, the church and the work of the Center, etc. etc. Questions sent to Pastor Tim ahead of time would be appreciated at: timtengblad@comcast.net.
Discussion will be a big part of the evening!
September 30, October 7, 14, 21 – Prayer As Alignment 6:30-8:00 PM. $25 per session.
We’ll study the Aramaic version of the Lord’s Prayer. The Aramaic takes you to the understanding of the purpose of prayer that Jesus lived and taught. It completely changes the traditional approach to prayer. Vital, life-giving wisdom is found here.
We’ll work on memorizing the first portions of the prayer in Aramaic.
We’ll also take a look at the practice of Contemplative Prayer.
November 11 – The Power of Gratitude $25
The practice of living from a place of thankfulness is amazingly powerful and life changing. We’ll study this gift as we prepare ourselves for Thanksgiving.
