Intuition
I’m constantly amazed at how fast life is moving and how much it’s changing. Tonight I was watching the news, which is not a good thing to do if you’re hoping to get a peaceful nights sleep. Price of groceries are up. Gas prices going up again. Stock Market acting totally schizophrenic. Our weather patterns are constantly changing. We’re constantly bombarded with politics and people got hit hard this winter with colds, flu and other physical maladies.
Life is so intense right now and according to my sources, it’s not going to stop. There’s a big movement to get the planet and it’s people to shift spiritually and we’re all so stubborn, it takes these challenges to get our attention.
No, my blog tonight is not about doom and gloom. My message is actually about hope.
Yesterday I was talking to a young woman who said that becoming enlightened is one of the hardest things she’s ever done and all I could do was hold her while she cried. There’s no quick fixes right now. People are being challenged in order to shift from their old ways of thinking and believing into a new way of living and believing and it’s not easy because so many of us are afraid of change.
There is one saving grace and that is our intuition. That still small voice within each of us that guides us every step along the way. Our inner voice is very aware of everything going on right now and everything that’s coming up which is why we need to turn to that voice rather than the voices and fears of the world.
I know it’s the media’s job to hype up everything they tell us, but all that’s doing is creating terrible fear and mis-trust in people. We need to take control and make our peace of mind more important than the newscasts and newspapers.
We need to find time everyday to be in the quiet. Literally shut off all noise and sit in the silence even if it’s just for 5 minutes.
You’ll be surprised how much that can help alleviate your fears and give you a sense of inner calm about not only the state of the world but the state of your own life.
We need to stop focusing so much on our minds and focus more on that inner voice located somewhere between your heart and your gut. It will guide you with all things so that you don’t’ have to feel afraid of this economy or these shifting times.
If you do not know how to listen to that still small voice within, I have some suggestions for you. I have a meditation tape called Guidance from the Light Within, a book called A Still Small Voice and a 4 CD Intuition Workshop called Living From Your Intuition all available at my on line store at www.echobodine.com.
I highly recommend that you get one or all of the above items and listen to them over and over. We don’t have to go through these challenging times living in fear. Don’t let the uncertainty of life affect your physical/mental or emotional health. Believe it or not, we can get through these times feeling peaceful inside but we can’t do it all by ourselves. We need to rely on a power greater than ourselves and that power has a still small voice within each of us. It protects us. Guides us and loves us unconditionally.
There’s every reason to feel hopeful but we can’t just live by our old thoughts and beliefs. We’re like trees that are being shaken from their very core in order to get rid of the old leaves and let new growth come in. Please let your inner voice guide you through these times. You won’t regret it.
God Bless,
Echo
Hi Echo,
What a great post! Life is intense and moving quickly, sometimes feeling, to me, like it’s spinning away. I’m grateful Mother Nature gave us the snow today. That gives me a chance to get off the merry-go-round and regain my equilibrium.
I miss your radio show – any plans for another in the future, or possibly some podcasting?
Harmony,
Janet
HI Echo
I just learned about you when I read your book about intuition. For a couple of years I’ve been learning about how to live by it, using dowsing and other methods to help. I liked your book, the part about listening to the voice, and it resonated with me because my dear psychic told me that I needed to be quiet and listen!
We moved to Georgia a few months ago and everything in our life was up in the air, including getting our businesses off the ground. We are attempting something really big–my new husband and I write screenplays and are working on getting them produced and/or sold. So it’s a whole new world as you can imagine.
So, long story short, I’m going to work on listening for guidance as we face these new and exciting challenges. Your post today really struck a chord, as I had the same thoughts about the world and am attempting to negotiate through with faith.
Thanks for your work. Your book was really good, beautifully written.
