Finally Blogging Again 1/24/08
Thanks to my good friend John Daltrey down in Phoenix, I’m finally getting back to the Blogs. I really do want to make an effort at least once a week to keep in touch with everyone through the Blog. It’s such a busy time as we all know and blogging seems to be a great way to stay in touch.
This week I’m very saddened by the death of Heath Ledger what a talented young man he was. I would imagine we’re going to hear all kinds of rumors in the press in the upcoming weeks about his death which is why I felt compelled to share this information with whoever is interested in reading it.
Since I’m a subscriber to People Magazine, I get these news updates immediately emailed to me when something’s going on in the world and when the email came in Tuesday afternoon of his death, it completely took me by surprise. I sat at the computer stunned by what I had just read and wondered how he was doing and why it happened. Within a couple of minutes, I heard his soul yelling that this was a mistake and I heard him asking if this could be reversed. He couldn’t believe it had happened, just like the rest of us couldn’t. I continued to hear him until Wednesday afternoon when someone escorted him over to the other side. He is very distraught over this tragedy. The word he continued to use was that he was mortified over his death and kept yelling that it wasn’t real. He wanted anyone that could hear him to tell his family and friends and especially his mothers daughter that this was a mistake and nothing intentional. He was yelling he was sorry. He never meant for this to happen.
I felt so bad for him that this had happened.
In NO WAY was this a suicide. He was tired. He wanted to get some sleep and he took what he thought would be a safe combination to knock him out for a few hours. This afternoon I was thinking about it again and the thought came to me to blog what I had heard with the hopes that maybe somehow it will reach his family and friends and people will know that he did not do this intentionally. His soul needs to find some peace and I think that’s the only way he’ll be able to is when he sees his family knows he did not take his own life.
It’s cold up here in North Country. 25 below wind chill is nothing to sneeze at but the sun is shining and we’re coming into a warm up. Winter is a great time to work on a new book which is exactly what I’m doing right now. If I can keep at it, this new one will be out in October of this year. I need to get back at it, but will do more blogging in the days to come.
