Sacred Medicine Wheel Workshop

In this workshop, participants will learn about the process of creating a traditional North American medicine wheel. In doing so, you will be participating in an ancient ceremony designed to create a sacred space of honor and respect to receive enlightened guidance from spirits. To guide us in this ritual, we will enlist the ancient foundations of creation; Father sky, Mother earth, sacred light, and the gifts of the four directions North, South, East and West.

Medicine wheels are intended to give us greater spiritual understanding and clarity in our journey through the physical world and our ultimate quest for wellness, peace and contentment.

In addition, participants will also be introduced to the concept of animal powers and how to better utilize their wisdom.

Tools:

Four Crystals, other stones that “call to you”. Tobacco or cornmeal, a rattle & or drum, bed sheet or table cloth (large enough to sit on), notepad & paper.
