Would you like to hear a message from Jesus?

Many of you know of Nick Bunick and many of you don’t. There is a book called The Messengers by Julia Ingram and G.W. Hardin. It was a best selling book in the 90’s and still available today. It’s a true story about a man named Nick Bunick who discovered through many sessions of hypnosis that he was the Apostle Paul living at the time of Jesus. Nick has written several books since then that I highly recommend. There is one in particular called The Commitment that my Thursday night Spiritual study group is reading and in that book is a fantastic sermon given by Jesus one day at Temple. It’s a couple of pages long and so amazing that I’m going to type it out for you here because I feel like I HAVE TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU.

This is on page 217 in The Commitment written from Saul’s (Nick Bunicks) memory:

Jeshua looked magnificent, standing with a great serenity, looking down upon the people , with the sun creating golden highlights in his hair. He was wearing an off color white robe made of very soft material, that stopped just above his ankles. His eyes were clear and his face radiated both strength and beauty as he silently looked over his audience.

Several minutes went by, in which the sound got quieter and quieter until there was total silence. And now Jeshua began to speak in a melodious voice that was resonant and yet filled with so much passion, that every person felt that he was talking personally to them.

He said, “Everything that is important to you in life, including your need to be loved and accepted, is all contained with you. Everything that you need, in trying to understand your relationship with God, lies within. For within you is a store room that contains many wonderful things. Each one of you has a key that will open the door to that store room. You may enter into it and take what is yours and visit it as often as you choose to, once you understand that it is a gift that you have all received in being part of God that is inside of each and every one of you. He looked around his audience and then continued. “There is a wisdom and spiritual mind internally that most times you refrain from trying to communicate with. Yes, it is difficult to center with your spiritual mind so yu can be in tune with it. But if you are not aware of it, or at best, if you are not making an effort to be in touch with it, it is impossible to become at one with it .Being at one with it brings happiness and understanding, for it will become obvious to you that there are so many things that you worry about in life that are not material, for they have nothing to do with happiness.

“So you must look within for the greatest gifts you have are internal. You must learn to center yourselves. You must learn to find your soul mind. It is there for each and every one of you to share and find peace. If you open a channel you shall see and shall understand for it is within every one of you who are God’s children”

A voice yelled out “You say these things are inside of us Jeshua. How do we find them? Jesus replied “I say to you that indeed, there is a treasure chest inside of every one of you and you do have the ability to find the key and open the chest and enjoy the wonderful things with the treasure chest, for they are yours.”

An elderly man yelled out “how do you describe God rabbi? How can we visualize our being part of God. I don’t understand.” Jeshua answered “Even though we refer to God as the father, God is both our father and our mother, for God has no single gender. God is a force, an entity of love and life that all of us are a part of. Think of a body of water, like a lake. That lake for purposes of understanding, think of it as an energy force of love and wisdom and knowledge. Each drop of that lake is part of the whole. If we take a jar and dip it into the lake, which is made up of thousands and thousands of little drops of water, they are part of the whole of the lake.

“We then scatter the drops in different places. Each little drop is put into the body of a newborn. These infants would then be a part of that lake, even if they do not recognize it. That little portion of the lake that is within them enables them to be eternal and everlasting. It is what gives you life. Now we equate that lake instead to being God, a different form of energy rather than the lake, then you have a better understanding that you are part of God, just as the drop of water was part of the lake. If that drop of water was to return eventually to that lake, it would then be again at one with the rest of the lake. So it is when spirit becomes at one again with the whole, someday, not only in thought but physically, that we are again with God.”

Another voice, one that was strong and young boomed out at the Jeshua. “Rabbi, I have heard you say before that we have the gift of free will. How does that affect our ability to become at one with God?’ Jeshua replied “God created you in his own image. He also gave you the will to choose your path on your way to reaching your destiny. The path that many of you have chosen unfortunately leads you further and further away from God, as well as from the truth. And now there are many of you who are lost.

So many of you have been led astray by desires of the senses, as well as your desires for gains in the material world. You must realize the material world itself can only give you gifts that are temporary and has nothing of any lasting value. The kingdom of heaven lies within you and God is within you also, residing with your own heart. God is everywhere and all of you are part of one great spiritual family, for everyone of you is a child of God. You must understand that and try to develop a feeling of unity with Oneness, knowing that indeed we are all one and are manifestations of our omnipresent God.”

“Live in peace, live in love and be aware of the presence of God at all times. God is here, within you and outside of you and everywhere, and you yourself have a part of the spirit of God residing with you which gives you your divinity. You are the divine child of the omnipresent God.”

A woman asked “Jeshua, what is the most important emotion or feeling we can have, is it peace or friendship?” Jeshua answered “Love is the motivating force for the universe, for love is God. Let love flow from you and see it’s illumination of power. The power of God through love transcends everything and can bring peace and tranquility to the troubled world. The laws of God are so simple. I say to each and every one of you, my brothers and sisters, it is so easy to understand what God is asking of you. And you do not need the permission of any other individual in order to obey the laws of God and nor do you have to pay another individual in order to live this truth, whether it be a priest or in the temple. What is asking of each and everyone of you is that you embrace universal love and universal compassion and live your lies in truth. If you are willing to do that, then surely you will realize that you are at one with God and will touch the lives of so many people that they will also enjoy life through you.”

A man asked “how about the priests Jeshua? They tell us that God’s will is found through them, through their teachings and their efforts, through the sacrifices and the tithings that we pay to them and the rituals that they teach us. The say that God is found here, in this temple. How do you respond?”

Jeshua answered “You are the temple of God. If God resides with you, is it not true that you may hold your services with God at any time you choose, whether it be as you walk through a field, as you be lie upon your own bed in the morning or before sleep as you are shopping the marketplace and yes as you take your temple into this temple that stands behind me? But God does not care about rituals. God does not care if you stand up or sit down while you are praying to him, nor does he ask you to memorize lines of words, which come from your mind, rather than your heart.

Jeshua heard a voice cry out “Be careful Jeshua, be careful that you do not blasphemy. Have you come to judge us.?” Jeshua answered “I stand as an individual in the presence of God. I have come, not to judge you, but to help you. “I have come not to judge the world but save the world.”

A voice called out “Jeshua, I have heard of the healings that you done in Galilee and Samaria. Will you also b doing healings here in Jerusalem” Jeshua replied “Yes, Gpd’s love for you will also be manifested her in Jerusalem. I do the healings as a conduit of God to show the power of God that is contained with you and the love that has for you, his children. I will be at the marketplace in the lower city at the main well. Tell those who seek to be healed and who have faith and belief in the power of come and join me in about two hours after noon. I leave you now and may you continue to stand in God’s light.
