Have you lost your sense of humor?

A couple of weeks ago in my spiritual study group, one of the women said that she needed to take some time off from her job because she had lost her sense of humor. She works for the government and said that things are quite chaotic which I can only imagine. With all that's going on in the world right now, I wouldn't be surprised if alot of us have lost our sense of humor. Gas, $4.00 a gallon. Not alot to laugh about ... Read More

Stretch

I was listening to a tape of a sermon by Rev. Leo Buscaglia in which he was saying that during one of his talks, a woman in the audience stood up and yelled stretch. He paused for a second and then went on with his talk. A few minutes later, the woman stood up again and yelled "Leo, S-T-R-E-T-C-H." He said it took him awhile but he realized afterwards that the woman was telling him that the talks he was giving were ... Read More

May 1, 2008

Wow. It's already May. It's hard to believe so much time has passed since my last Blog. My intention when I started this up again was that I was going to Blog every week, but it just isn't happening. Time is moving so fast. If it wasn't for my good friend John Daltrey down in Arizona, I'd completely space out the Blogging, so thanks John, once again for the helpful nudge. I had a cool experience that I want to ... Read More

Intuition

I'm constantly amazed at how fast life is moving and how much it's changing. Tonight I was watching the news, which is not a good thing to do if you're hoping to get a peaceful nights sleep. Price of groceries are up. Gas prices going up again. Stock Market acting totally schizophrenic. Our weather patterns are constantly changing. We're constantly bombarded with politics and people got hit hard this winter with colds, ... Read More

It’s So Frustrating

When I think of what a different world this would be if the Council of Constantinople had not decided to vote OUT reincarnation in 553 A.D. Did you know that the Roman Catholic Church taught reincarnation until that time? Just think of how different things would be if people understood that the Golden Rule isn't just a cute suggestion but actually the law of Karma. What we do to another person is what is done to us. If ... Read More

Yay! It’s Almost Over

Mercury Retrograde that is. Holy Smokes, this one has been a rough one. I can't remember ever having so much trouble with a Mercury Retrograde as this one. For those of you who are not sure what I'm talking about, three times a year the planet Mercury goes backwards for 3 weeks at a time. Mercury rules travel and communication, which means anything having to do with travel ie; cars, planes, airline/hotel reservations ... Read More

Middle of the Night

Sometimes when the energy is as intense as it's been lately, 3:00 in the morning seems to be the best time of the day. It's like this corner of the world is sleeping and I can finally hear the silence. I love it. Tonight when I did the meditation in my spiritual study group, the guidance said that we should all breath the earth's energy into our body starting at our feet and working the energy all the way up. It felt ... Read More

Update on Heath Ledger

I teach a Saturday morning class based on the book called Discover the Power Within You by Eric Butterworth and yesterday in class several people talked about being deeply affected by Heath's Ledgers death this week. This morning in my meditation, I checked in to the other side to see if I could get a glimpse of how he is doing and was pleasantly surprised to see he is doing well. There were so many people that came to ... Read More

Finally Blogging Again 1/24/08

Thanks to my good friend John Daltrey down in Phoenix, I'm finally getting back to the Blogs. I really do want to make an effort at least once a week to keep in touch with everyone through the Blog. It's such a busy time as we all know and blogging seems to be a great way to stay in touch. This week I'm very saddened by the death of Heath Ledger what a talented young man he was. I would imagine we're going to hear all ... Read More
