A Very Blunt Blog

Another shooting. More senseless deaths. People are afraid to go anywhere these days because there are mentally challenged people in our society who know no other way to relieve their pain than go out and kill people.

People say video games of constantly killing people have no influence on children which is pure bullshit. I’m not sure how much proof people need to accept this, but the good news is that we, the people out here who would like to live our lives in peace, do have a solution.

I know I yammer at you all the time about intuition. Some of you get it, many of you don’t. Why would someone live by intuition when we have these perfectly good brains to help us figure things out? We have egos, we have our strong wills, we have facts and figures to back up all of our plans, and what happens most of the time? Something goes goofy. And our usual response is to blame God.

You do not need to be afraid. You do not need to barricade yourself in your home because we have mentally ill people in our population.

What you do need is to learn to listen to your inner voice. I always wonder when I hear of another shooting how many of those people had a “feeling” not to go to the bar that night or the synagogue or the school or the towers in 911. I would say a large percentage of them felt it, felt it strong, and disregarded it because they wanted to go (our will).

If you are in harms way, your inner voice – your intuition – will try its hardest to protect you.

Many of you know what I’m talking about. Remember back to the last time you heard that inner voice and either chose to listen to it – or chose not to. And if you chose not to, what was the outcome?

We don’t have to be victims to wounded people. LEARN how to recognize your inner voice. The feeling of yes and the feeling of no. It’s inside you. At the core of your soul. It’s there to guide all of us.

And in spite of what many psychics teach you, it is not the same as your psychic abilities. I’ve heard from some people that they are afraid to develop a communication with their inner voice because they don’t want to be psychic.

Hear me loud and clear. Learning to hear your inner voice is NOT developing your psychic abilities. It’s a different part of you.

If you are going out to a place and you get a strong nudge not to go, cancel it and stay home. There is a difference between your fears, your emotions and your intuition and you need to learn what that is. I’ve written a book called A Still, Small Voice or you can take my online Intuition class starting Nov. 15th. This is not a blog about trying to get business. This is a blog about you taking your spiritual path to the next level by connecting to your inner voice.

I want to talk about Karma for a second because it’s real. All these people killing others obviously don’t know a thing about it and think that after they’ve killed a bunch of people and then die themselves they are going to feel so much better, BUT GUESS WHAT. THEY WON’T.

There’s a heavy karmic debt that comes with something like this and unfortunately religion still isn’t teaching it. They spew out the Golden Rule every once in awhile but after what I’ve seen since the 2016 election, people have forgotten it. Karma is real. We will all have to make amends for our actions against others.

The last comment I have to make is to the Evangelical Christians in this country who just spent millions to ensure your guy or gal gets elected. Aren’t you the folks that are dead set against the Caravan??? Where in God’s name is any Christianity in your way of thinking? I find it utterly disgusting that you call yourselves Christians. You should be opening your homes to the people that are coming here. So what if some of them might be criminals? We’ve definitely got our share of home grown criminals.

I can’t stand to watch the hypocrisy of this President and the people calling themselves Christians. You really believe if Jesus showed up at your doorstep tonight and asked if you’re doing the right thing that you could answer yes? You poured millions into a political campaign so that you can continue to get your deals done and at the same time, back the President in getting these “awful people to go back home?” That’s disgusting.

I’m so glad we have a balance in power now. The politicians are either going to learn to work together in a bi-partisan way or we’ll have more chaos. Can we please just pray for getting along? Wouldn’t that be nice.

And for my last blunt comment of the evening: To all you ISIS men who are so looking forward to your dozen virgins, spoiler alert – you don’t take your penis with you.

AMEN SISTA! Your words ring so true. I pray so often for the people of this world to just love each other. We are all one. We are all children of God. Why the hell can’t we get along with each other. Such scary times that we live in.

Beautifully said. You are right and you are brave for saying it. I wish it didn’t take bravery today to speak the truth, but everyone is angry. I hope more people realize Jesus’ true teachings. They don’t include hatred, violence, and name calling.

Thank you Echo … what you said is so true ! Every one of these senseless shootings cuts so deep & it’s like reliving my own Dads death to gun violence.. Dad was doing what he loved .. working in his restaurant .. in a split second robbery he was gone ! When is it all going to stop I pray ? It would be so much easier if we could all get along .. I hope for the day we do. Love & peace to you Echo.

Thanks for this, Echo! You definitely got to the heart of things here. Ultimately everything is about the Golden Rule, and it’s hard to understand how so many of us can lose sight of it altogether. :-)

I suggest to everyone a technique I’ve tried a great deal. Called by some ‘holding space ‘. You can hold in your thoughts or if you can astral travel to somewhere people are in need of healing and ‘hold space ‘ and allow healing energy to flow through you. Allow this energy to flow to who ever is in need…try not to direct the flow…just allow the energy to flow through you. I saw on the news the pain of the father who had just found out his son had died…later I connected with the son and allowed energy to flow through me to the son to his father. ‘Holding space ‘ is powerful.

Regarding your last comment, maybe being surrounded by virgins and having no penis is the first round of Karma that they will face. Thanks for the reminder Echo. I did not know that intuition was separate from psychic ability. I would really like to have both.

    Echo,
Having read your comments, I agree with most —but find that most people that make comments especially those with some social recognition, about others taking in refugees legal or not rarely do that themselves- so my question is how many refugees have you actually sheltered and supported financially and how many with this current wave looking for refuge are you going to help?? My current problem is with the hungry, neglected, children and adults living on the streets or tents- our military veterans in need of mental and physical health care and places of shelter in our own state let alone this country. At which point do we take care of our own citizens-if we are not a strong country taking care of our current population how do ignore them which we do regularly and take in more.
So for all the socially recognized people that challenge others to do more- I suggest leading by example would be more appropriate- too often celebrity’s economic help, educational advantages and other caring aspects go to yes third world countries while many live in poverty, on the streets, go hunger, need medical care here at home. So Echo Bodine my question is how do you plan

Spot on! For me, it’s learning to trust that intuition more and not doubt myself. Example: I was hiking alone this weekend and came to a turn in the trail where I stopped. Intuition made me hesitate. But my doubt talked loudly, too: there’s probably nothing to worry about; this is just your anxiety talking.

Nevertheless, I turned around and went back the way I had come. Perhaps I should just take your class and strengthen my trust in my intuition.
